Luke's Birthday

Hi everyone

We have had a fantastic week. Luke had a great 9th Birthday and his party was at the Parrot Zoo where he fed the lemurs in their enclosure. Such a fab experience! here is the card i made him.

Morning...

well a lazy Sunday for me after a wonderful few days of having a friend to stay with her children. Thank you for the best wishes regarding the job interview - I am over the moon as I was successful! Awaiting certain checks to come back and then i will get my start date, although have induction in a week's time!

One card from the Me to You CD rom - black and white image coloured with promarkers and mounted on black card, background papers scraps from stash and a stamped sentiment.

Me To You...

Morning,

well a little cloudy here today! Another busy week..Luke broke his finger before finishing school so he has it strapped but is still playing cricket and getting up to all sorts of mischief as small boys do. I had a job interview this week and i have been taking the kids here there and everywhere during their first week off!

I spoilt my self a little with buying a xcut waterlily multipunch and the me to you CDrom and have made a couple of cards! I have embellished the me to you background butterfly paper with tiny nail gems and gel pen.

Bag Charms

Evening

Well had a hectic week with all the school end of term activities - concerts, sports days and fetes. Many thanks to all of you that have kindly sent get well messages for my husband, it has been much appreciated. No card uploads this week but have tried some jewellery making in the form of two bag charms. Both are dragonfly themed ( my favourite insect) and i have started my third bag charm. Hope u have had a great weekend despite the rain.

It's been a month..almost!

Well i can't believe it's been nearly a month since i last posted! sorry not been around lots going on with family.And i've started volunteering one day a week at the local wildlife trust. Absolutely loving the outdoors, meeting new people and learning new skills. Also my hubby had his gall bladder removed at the beginning of the week so been quite busy.One card to share at present : stampin up flower image on embossed card background.

sorry been missing for a couple of weeks..had a fantastic week away in North Wales.We climbed halfway up Snowdon and did some other fab walks, looked round castles and enjoyed the lovely beaches.

Have made a stash of quick teenager cards as there always seems to be a birthday cropping up at the moment..

My eldest is a Teenager

Morning.. busy day yesterday. My eldest son Samuel was 13 and is now officially a teenager.he loves Meerkats so made him the following card using jayne Netley Mayhew Cd rom. as an animal lover i love using these images.
